Smile360 Teeth Whitening FAQ's

What's Makes Smile360 Different?

Smile360 Teeth Whitening Clinics uses the latest LED technology and our professional grade non-peroxide whitening gel. Our system has proven to yield superior results with little to no sensitivity when compared to other whitening systems.

Does it Hurt?

We use professional grade non-peroxide gel. Most people feel no pain or sensitivity whatsoever after sessions. A small percentage of clients may feel some tooth sensitivity, especially if they are dehydrated or consume very cold/hot foods or drinks within two hours after the whitening session. Any sensitivity is typically short term and gone within 24-48 hours. We do offer solutions for those that are concerned about sensitivity.

Does Teeth Whitening Work on Crowns, Veneers and Fillings?

The teeth whitening gel will remove staining from existing dental work and take it back to the original colour- but no whiter than the original colour of the crown, veneer, or filling. Our goal is to have the process clean up the existing dental work and whiten the natural teeth to match for a nice, even smile. The process cannot whiten them beyond the original colour of the material used at the time of placement.

Is Smile360's Teeth Whitening for Everyone?

The Smile360 Teeth Whitening Clinics self-application treatment provides dramatic results for anyone who wants to whiten their teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been stained by smoking or by substances such as coffee, tea, soda, wine and other consumable items. We also see great results on people with teeth stained by tetracycline, fluoride, and hereditary discolouration.

How often can you use the teeth whitening gel/in-clinic whitening session?

Our whitening gel is non-peroxide so you can keep using the product or book your in-clinic appointment every couple of weeks until desired results.

How Long Does it Last?

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance, the treatment can last up to 6 months

Is the process safe for pregnant women?

Yes! Our teeth whitening gel formula is peroxide-free and non-toxic.

Teeth Whitening Business FAQ's

Who are the best candidates for a Teeth Whitening Business?

Existing Service/Beauty Industry Professionals. Brow Artists, Nail Technicians, Estheticians, Medical Aestheticians, Spray Tan Artists, Makeup Artists, Hair Stylists, Barbers, Tattoo Artists etc. Alternatively, individuals in the cosmetic med spa industry such as Doctors and/or nurses offering injectables and/or fillers. Professionals that fit within these examples, make up a large portion of our customers and for good reason - Teeth Whitening is a low cost, and high-demand service option that fits your pre-existing business model and client type.

Of course, anyone that doesn’t fit this criteria, is still eligible to participate in our training and incorporate our systems and products into a stand alone teeth whitening business.

Can I offer Teeth Whitening in my area?

This depends on where you or your proposed business will be located. Regulations vary between cities, provinces, states and countries. For this reason, we always advise that you reach out to your local health authority and/or your insurance company to inquire about more details.

From our experience, we have found there to be THREE common answers:

1) You can perform teeth whitening on a client - with proper training (click here for training)

2) The client can perform teeth whitening on themselves, while being directed by a professional trained technician - with proper training (click here for training)

3) Neither is permitted - which you can then retail our At-Home Whitening Products in a retail or online environment.

How much money can a Teeth Whitening Technician make?

Our technicians average $90-100 per client. With only 2 clients a day, you could make over $65,000 a year! Our customers make even more when they incorporate our retail at-home whitening products into their business as well; taking their average client ticket from $90 to over $130. This small addition bumps their potential annual revenue up to nearly $95,000 - and that’s still based on only 2 clients a day! That’s something to smile about! :)

Can I offer Teeth Whitening without a Degree/License?

This depends on where you or your proposed business will be located. Regulations vary between cities, provinces, states and countries. For this reason, we always advise that you reach out to your local health authority and/or your insurance company to inquire about more details.

With that being said, In Canada many customers have great success with offering self-administering whitening treatments - meaning a trained professional verbally instructs the user on how to insert the whitening tray into their own mouth. In many areas, this technique may be permitted without a license. Again, we strongly advise that you do your own research on this as regulations vary greatly from one area to another.
